Nature Bee

Automated Cutting Machine

The purpose of our project is to design and build a beeswax-wrap cutting machine for the Nature Bee Beeswax Wraps company. The finalized project will provide an automated cutting procedure by unspooling the waxed cotton from a bolt of material and outputting finished-length sections in preparation for folding, thereby increasing worker productivity.

The device will be built from custom manufactured and off-the-shelf components to meet the unique demands of the machinery. Our design will prioritize simplicity, ease of use, and ease of maintenance to create a functional and effective automated process.
