Team F | My Living City
Project
My Living City is an application that is used to connect people with ideas about how to improve the com- munity to those that share similar passions and want to make a change. My Living City project is to add moderator functionality to the pre-existing application. Moderation is of utmost importance when trying to reach successful and genuine collaboration. Malicious actors and bots must be able to be dealt with swiftly. By implementing this, MLC can safely create a geo-located dialogue of likeminded people.
Our Team
Jacob West
Jacob West Jacob has always been passionate about computers and software development. Jacob started developing small C++ desktop applications and unique web pages in middle school. His passion led him to enroll in game development and web development electives during high school and continued to Camosun's ICS program post-graduation. After graduating, Jacob aspires to become a full-stack developer and is committed to furthering his education through experi- ence.
Haonan Zhang
Haonan Zhang has been in the Interactive Media Developer program in Camosun college for 2 years now. Haonan has strong mathematics & physics skills and is also interested in algorithms. Other than learn- ing to become a programmer, Haonan also developed interest in visual design, 3D model building & animation, as well as being a user experi- ence designer using Maya & Adobe products. He hopes to become a member of a software company focusing on building real-world simula- tions using the latest technologies such as VR.
Christopher Meacham
My name is Chris Meacham, my background is as an Electrician with a history in the Canadian Forces. I changed careers to my final career as a DevOps software engineer. I have achieved completion as a Microsoft Azure Developer Associate as well as a Microsoft Certified Azure DevOps Engineer Expert. I have a young daughter and am happily married. My career goals are to become a Software Architect. I bring a strong proficiency with environment deployment, IAC, and backend technologies.
