The Electronic Quality Assurance Time Entry System (EQUATES) is sponsored by Anthony Macauley Associates (AMA) with Bob MacDonald as the company partner/visionary behind the project.

Founded in 1979, Anthony Macauley Associates has offices in Victoria and Ottawa which provide government management systems and services. Their flagship line is the Government eXcellence (GX) series. GOL Tools^e is another product under development. It a graphical web design tool conforming to Government On Line standards which enables fast and easy development of customized, dynamic, data-driven web sites with no programming.

Our project is to develop a replacement that combines the current Work Planning and Quality Assurance systems into a system that provides accurate time and task management for the company. The tools we will be using include ERWin (database design and creation), Oracle 8i (database) and GOL-Tools^e (proprietary web-screen design tool). To accomplish our goal we need to create the new database, convert the old data and design the web-screen interfaces to interact with the database. Also necessary is to document the standards and procedures we will be using.
