Abstract:

This web-based support system allows customers to receive interactive support from a representative over the Internet. The system uses streaming audio and video along with text messaging for communication. A software system improves the existing customer support method of telephone and email/fax correspondence. This software system allows customer support staff at Lacerte Development to operate more efficiently and provide better service to their customers. The system is available to users on the Internet. The software system permits customer service representatives to communicate with clients by text messaging, voice audio and video, through the use of a computer connected to the Internet. manages the operation of connecting customers to support staff through the use of a web site. The web site provides information about how customers are to use the software system and the functionality to launch it.
