With the power of the sendwithus WordPress plugin, site administrators can easily send transactional emails that make use of A/B testing, drip campaigns, easy to create templates, and a set of powerful analytical tools.
The NPNA e-Newsletter and Website Refresh Project’s primary goal was to create a new, modern website for the NPNA. This website includes an integrated e-Newsletter, an event calendar, an executives’ forum, and a document archive, and the overall security of the website was considered paramount during its development.
Turn It Up (TIU) is an ongoing campaign put on by NEED2, Victoria’s suicide prevention centre. The campaign is designed to begin the de-stigmatization of conversations about suicide within our culture. The TIU application is poised to bring this campaign into the mobile sphere by allowing youth to collaboratively make some noise about suicide prevention!

The Victoria Zumbini Website project was created to revolutionize the Zumbini program’s presence on the web. The new website, VictoriaZumbini.com, has been reconstructed from the ground up to streamline the online registration process across multiple devices.
Team Nimo has had the pleasure of working alongside Dactyl to create a wireless audio solution. Dactyl Studios has recognized the lack of high-quality and affordable devices designed to easily provide multiple users with personal audio from their television through wireless technology. Thus, Dactyl Studios has envisioned a solution that would achieve headphone-based audio using a smartphone application that would act as a receiver for the televisions audio.
The NFIS Team consists of Camosun College CST students Andrew Aitken, Andrew Black, and Jason Lybbert. They are building a mobile field data collection application to be used by their Project Sponsor, The National Forest Information System. The application’s development has been named the Field Data Collection Application Project; its primary goal is to replace the paper tally sheets that are currently used to collect data regarding Canada’s forests, but it will be usable by other businesses and individuals as well.
The Ministry of Environment, BC Parks, in partnership with Sierra Systems, has sponsored a Capstone project to produce a cross-platform tablet application which assists in the collection and retention of ecological monitoring field data. The LTEMA Project Team consists of Camosun College students Blair White, Nick Gulajec, and Rory Drysdale. They are working closely with Project Sponsor Dr. Tory Stevens of BC Parks during development to refine the final product. Sierra Systems is providing project management and technical expertise to assist the students in their efforts.
The Educask project is an open-source project geared to create a better social network for education. Educask intends to bring the classroom to the internet to life by encouraging dialog between students. It will be a crossbreed of a social network and a Learning Management System (LMS).
PathNotes is a project about changing the current paradigm of classroom teaching. With PowerPoint dominating the classroom with static, and dull lesson presentations, PathNotes wishes to make classroom teaching more engaging. Enabling teachers to dynamically shape lessons as if they were still using a chalkboard, but with the technology available today.
The aim of the OpenGovGear project is to develop a series of data portals implementing CKAN, the Comprehensive Knowledge Archive Network. These portals will allow administrators to upload and organize data for the general public to freely browse and download. OpenGovGear will develop three separate CKAN extensions for rapid turnkey deployment to serve the rising needs of the Open Data movement.
The MelBot 2.0 is a robotic education platform intended for students and hobbyists. It is an excellent tool to facilitate experimentation in motor control, embedded programming, serial communications protocols, data acquisition, and more. We would like to see the MelBot 2.0 replace the MelBot 1.0 currently in use by Camosun College.
The AE35 Unit demonstrates the advancement made in robotics in the last few years, and the availability of the everyday person to build and develop their own robots. R-Motion is working in conjunction with the Electrical and Mechanical Technology Departments of Camosun College to showcase the power the college has from turning student innovation into realities.

The Iota Energy Monitoring System will interface with existing BC Hydro smart meters and display real-time electricity use data using several methods.
