Delta Snail
Introduction
Delta Snail is creating the self-sponsored experimental game project Smile for the Camera for Camosun College’s Technology Capstone Showcase 2026. Inspired by Before Your Eyes (2021), Smile for the Camera explores new possibilities of webcam input by letting players control the game with their facial expressions.

Jordan Smith
(Solo Developer)Jordan is excited to stretch her capabilities by taking on this project. She has been programming games since age 12 and has been passionate about video games all her life. During her time at Camosun College, she developed an interest in technical art and worked at Camosun Innovates in the summer of 2025 creating 3D models of native plants for the Malahat Virtual Reality Landscape Project. Jordan's combination of technical and artistic skills is critical for this project. To build the emotion detection system, which captures images of the player and analyzes them in real time, she had to quickly pick up Python and C++ to work with the neural network ResMaskNet. Jordan is also exercising her creativity and 3D art experience by producing character models, particle effects, and other 3D assets to create a uniquely playful visual style.
