Zero Bug Heroes
Introduction
Team Zero Bug Heroes, made up of Alireza, Ahra, Scott, and Abdullah, collaborated with Three Trees Technical to revamp the company's job board and profit-sharing tracker, made by a previous capstone team. Users can create and apply to jobs, create and edit a profile, create a production, add participants to a production, and track payments and profits linked to the production. The current website is a monolithic PHP application with a legacy PHP/HTML front-end, session-based user authentication, and an outdated design. This means that using the website could be inconvenient because it needs to constantly refresh to be interactive due to being fully PHP and HTML. The session-based authentication would also be inconvenient for users, as they would need to keep logging in every time they create a new session. The project aims to handle these issues by adding an API, integrating React into the front-end, and switching authentication to use JWT. The client also requested the removal of the tiered membership system and the Stripe integration as well as a redesign of the website.

Alireza Mirzaahmadkermanshahi
(Full-stack developer)Alireza holds an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering and is currently completing a diploma in information and computer system technology at Camosun College. He has a strong interest in enterprise systems and user experience and is motivated by building solutions that simplify complex workflows and make technology more efficient and accessible. He brings to this project his front-end development in React, TypeScript, and Next.js; his backend experience with Node.js, security (JWT authentication and authorization), and SQL; and his exposure to Agile project management and enterprise development through his co-op work. He looks forward to contributing to the technology sector after graduating.
Scott Degreef
(Back-end Developer)Ever since he was a kid, Scott has been very interested in problem-solving and puzzles, and with that experience, he has flourished in the Camosun ICS program. He brings to the team his great communication skills, his ability to work well in a team, his initiative, and his great problem-solving skills. He has experience using multiple languages, such as the two being used in this project, PHP and JavaScript, as well as C#, Python, Swift, and many more. In this project, he is focused mostly on backend development such as modifying the database and creating the API, but he is also doing some QA and bug fixing. He is grateful for the experience this project gives him and is looking forward to bringing his skills to the software development field.
Ahra Gopakumar
(Front-end Developer & UI/UX Designer)Ahra is highly drawn to design and handcrafting, which reflects her creativity and attention to detail. She is a passionate front-end developer with experience in both front-end and back-end development as well as UX/UI design. She has experience with React, C#, JavaScript, Python, and Swift. Her creativity and passion for design and drawing inspire her to build responsive, interactive user interfaces. As a detail-oriented developer, she is responsible for refactoring the website's interactive user components into React while ensuring a smooth user experience.
Abdullah Baig
(Front-end Developer)Abdullah is a front-end developer who enjoys turning ideas into polished, intuitive digital experiences. He combines creativity with technical problem solving to build modern, responsive web applications using REACT, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. With a Strong focus on clean design, usability and performance, he strives to create interfaces that feel seamless across every device. For this project, he is leading the development and refinement of the React based front end, enhancing functionality, and delivering an engaging, user-centered experience.
