What is the Electronics Capstone Symposium?
The Camosun College Electronics Capstone Symposium is an annual event that showcases the achievements of Camosun's senior Electronics & Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering Technology students. Over the 14 weeks leading up to the event, the students work hard to apply their program knowledge to develop hardware and software solutions to solve real-world problems. The symposium is an opportunity for students to demonstrate their skills, creativity, and innovation to industry professionals, faculty, and the community.

Electronics & Computer Engineering Technology - Renewable Energy
Students in Camosun College's Electronics & Computer Engineering Technology – Renewable Energy diploma gain hands-on experience with electronics, computer hardware, software development, and renewable energy systems. Through hands-on training, students explore programmable logic controllers (PLCs), variable frequency drives, electrical machines, and marine propulsion systems while learning to design, operate, and maintain electrical equipment. With opportunities for co-op work experience and pathways to further engineering studies, the program prepares graduates for rewarding careers in the marine and industrial electrical sectors.
