Matt is an accomplished IT leader with a rich background in technology
and business management. He currently serves as the Director of IT
Business Services at BC Transit, where he oversees the IT PMO, Business
Relationship Management, Enterprise Data & Analytics, and Privacy and
Records Management. Matt is passionate about leveraging technology to
drive strategic outcomes and has a diverse background in software
development and IT management.
In 2022, Matt completed his MBA, focusing on bridging the gap between
technical solutions and business needs. With a strong technical
foundation and a people-centric approach, he is dedicated to developing
future-focused strategies that align with organizational goals. Outside
of work, Matt enjoys building his off-grid cabin and working on personal
tech projects, often involving a Raspberry Pi or an ESP32. He is also
actively involved in his children's sports activities, whether at the
softball or soccer fields
