Rooof helps property management companies seamlessly create automated classified ads. Team Roooftop will provide an application that tracks the current morale of Rooof employees using two Amazon Web Services IoT buttons. This application will be used mainly by human resources to track trends in employee morale and make correlations with team performance.
Fiona developed a passion for computer science after taking an introductory course in university. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from UBC and started a career in Payroll before pursuing this passion. She plans on entering Victoria’s technology community and finding her niche. She loves creating beautiful web applications and working on projects that focus on the user experience.
Jasmine’s interest in computer science stems from her love of video games. After 15 years as a school counselor, she decided to pursue her passion and enroll herself in the ICS program at Camosun College. Jasmine enjoys working with IoT and AI technology. Jasmine looks forward to working in the technology industry and hopes to become a game developer.
Kerensa discovered an interest in technology after making websites in her youth. She graduated from UVic with a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography and worked in administration. She pursued technology-related learning opportunities through Ladies Learning Code and UVic Continuing Studies. She enjoys working with databases and Java. Kerensa looks forward to a new career in technology and the lifelong learning that goes along with it.
Zack’s love for computer technology began at a young age. Since playing his first game system at age 6, he was fascinated with the world of technology. His passion eventually led him to pursue a career in Computer Sciences. He enjoys learning new programming languages, creating useful software, and is looking forward to applying his talents to the technology industry.
